Norman & Jane Hill - Church Pastors
Norman & Jane Hill are the Pastors of River Church Elgin. Having originally joined the Riverside Christian Network in 1991, they moved to Elgin in 2009 to fulfill the call of God - to lead the local church. They have built the foundations of a strong church and are passionate to see the Kingdom of God advance in Elgin and the surrounding area.
Norman works for the church and is the full-time Pastor, giving him responsibility for all things from pastoral care to teaching and preaching on most Sunday mornings. Whilst Norman tends to the church, Jane works for one of the countries largest social care charities, providing support to carers. It is clear from her medical training and previous vocational experience that Jane has a drive to help people who are in need, and both Norman and Jane effectively care for the church and those in the local community, with whom the church is connected, as if they were their own family.
Whenever they have a bit of spare time they enjoy bird watching together, travelling far and wide in Scotland to see rare birds. Norman enjoys watching sport on TV whilst Jane can normally be found preparing food or hosting any number of their 5 children, 2 grand-children and extended family.
